The 23-year-old has arrived for an undisclosed fee on a deal until June 2021, with the option of a further year in the club’s favour.

The 23-year-old signed for Fleet in July from SkyBet League Two side Stevenage.

The Bolton-born player is a box-to-box player who began his career in Bolton Wanderers` academy, playing on loan for Hyde United, before he went on to represent Northwich Victoria and Stalybridge Celtic.

His big breakthrough came with Stockport County when he signed at Edgeley Park in 2016.

His form for the Hatters saw him sign a two-year contract extension inside his first six months and he was a key fixture in the club’s central midfield berth.

He managed 7 goals in County’s final 11 games of the 2017/18 season to help them into the National League North play-offs, making 48 appearances in all competitions during that campaign.

Stevenage paid an undisclosed five-figure sum for his services last summer and he scored 4 goals in 21 appearances for Boro in 2018/19.
