The 21-year-old is the son of Jamie Pollock, who played in the Premier League for Manchester City, Middlesbrough and Bolton Wanderers.

Pollock, who is a former Newcastle United youngster and whose brother, Mattie plays for Grimsby Town, has been on trial with the Bulls for the past month and featured in the recent behind-closed-doors friendly.

He signed a professional contract with Hartlepool United three years ago and made his debut in a 1-0 defeat to Sunderland in the EFL Trophy.

He later played for Dunston UTS in the Ebac Northern League First Division before signing for Northern League Second Division outfit Billingham Synthonia in July 2018.

"He’s a continuity player who can be that link between the back-four and those players further forward, I’m sure he will do well for us.

“He’s impressed me during his short trial period, he’s fitted in well with the lads and he is someone who will add something to the squad that we haven’t really got at the moment.”

Pollock is available for selection for tomorrow's Emirates FA Cup Third Qualifying Round tie at Tamworth.
