Hodge (pictured), 23, joins from Vanarama National League North side Kettering Town, for whom he signed for in late July after impressing in the pre-season friendlies.

The son of former Nottingham Forest and England midfielder Steve Hodge, the pacey winger completed a scholarship at Notts County before signing for Lincoln City in 2015.

He spent two years with the Imps, appearing for the first team as well spending time on loan at Stamford AFC and Stafford Rangers along with spells in the National League North with Gainsborough Trinity and AFC Telford United.

Re-signing for Notts County in the summer of 2017 after being released by Lincoln, he spent time on loan at Alfreton Town early in 2018.

After his short-term contract with Burton ended in January 2019, Hodge signed for the Poppies` league rivals Leamington in March 2019.

Brown joins the Pitmen on loan until January 1st, 2020 from National League North outfit AFC Telford United.

The 23-year-old is Birmingham-born and raised, and began his career at Crewe Alexandra, emerging from their youth set-up.

He first gained experience at National League North level in a loan spell with Worcester City, before then joining Rushall Olympic on a similar basis in December 2015.

He netted a double figure return for the Pics, including an amazing 5-goal debut, and those exploits earned him a contract at Kidderminster Harriers when released by Crewe in 2016.

After two seasons at Aggborough, yielding 23 goals, he moved to Telford in June 2018.

Brown is cup-tied for today’s Emirates FA Cup Third Qualifying Round match at home to Blyth Spartans but has been cleared to play in Buildbase FA Trophy.
