Dior Angus gave the Bluebirds a 36th minute lead at Hayes Lane which Scott Quigley doubled 9 minutes into the second half.

Michael Cheek pulled one back for the Ravens, but it wasn`t until 5 minutes from time and proved to be just a consolation.

FC Halifax Town now possess a two-point lead at the top of the table after they won 1-0 at York Road against Maidenhead United, courtesy of a first-minute Liam McAlinden goal.

But the Shaymen and Barrow were the only teams in the top seven to win on Saturday.

Yeovil Town suffered a 2-1 defeat on their long trek to Hartlepool United, whose Gime Toure broke the deadlock a minute after half-time.

Rhys Murphy looked to have earned the Glovers a point when he equalised in the 89th minute, only for Jason Kennedy to pop up with Pools winner in stoppage time.

Woking are fourth but were held 1-1 at The Laithwaite Community Stadium by struggling Wrexham, whose Luke Young eventually gave them the lead 5 minutes into the second half.

Shaun Donnellan levelled for the Cards with 13 minutes remaining.

The two other teams in the top seven, Dagenham & Redbridge and Barnet, shared a 1-1 draw at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Both goals came within 3 minutes of each other shortly before the break – Angelo Balanta putting the Daggers in front and Josh Walker equalising.

Two of the bottom four, Chorley and Aldershot Town, shared a 0-0 draw at Victory Park, while Chesterfield couldn`t follow up last week`s win and lost 2-1 at The Proact Stadium against Eastleigh, despite taking a 17th minute lead through big Tom Denton.

Tyrone Barnett equalised right on the stroke of half-time and Marcus Barnes scored what proved to be the Spitfires winner 8 minutes into the second period.

Torquay United moved up to ninth spot after a 2-1 win against AFC Fylde at Plainmoor.

But they left it late after Kalvin Lumbombo Kalala had given them an 8th minute lead that Jordan Williams cancelled out 7 minutes after half-time.

Matt Buse`s winner arrived 3 minutes into stoppage time.

Dover Athletic looked to be heading for three home points against Notts County as they 2-1 going into time added on at the end of the game but in the end had to settle for a share of the spoils.

Bobby-Joe Taylor`s 36th minute opener for the Whites was levelled by Mitch Rose in the 41st minute.

Kevin Lokko restored Dover`s lead in the 53rd minute and then sub Kristian Dennis grabbed the Magpies late leveller.

And Boreham Wood also left it very late before they grabbed a 1-0 win at Meadow Park against Solihull Moors.

Tyrone Marsh popped up 3 minutes into stoppage time to steal the show.

But at Gander Green Lane, neither Sutton United nor Stockport County could find a goal between them.
