a couple of Vanarama National League North clubs fell to defeats to lower
league opposition.

Spartans 4-2 at Keys Park.
Reece
King gave the Pitmen a 6th minute lead that Callum Roberts cancelled
out in the 40th minute.
Kieran
Morris restored the home side`s lead just before the break, only for Roberts to
equalise just after half-time.
Morris`
second arrived after 63 minutes to make it 3-2 and Danny Glover made sure with
a fourth just 2 minutes later.
The
Pitmen`s league rivals Peterborough Sports knocked out Guiseley AFC 1-0 at
home, courtesy of a goal from sub Maniche Sani in the final seconds.
Isthmian
League South East side Chichester City knocked out Isthmian Premier Division Enfield
Town 1-0 in Sussex, with an 86th minute Lloyd Rowlatt goal.
And
Northern Premier League Division One South East outfit Belper Town edged out
Southern League Premier Division Central visitors Rushall Olympic 2-1.
Alex
Paterson gave the Nailers a 9th minute lead that Jon Letford
levelled 20 minutes from time.

up popped sub Charlie Dawes to win it for the hosts in the 81st
minute.
Southern
League Division One South side Bristol Manor Farm have a second chance against
National League South visitors Wealdstone following a 0-0 draw, as do Northern
Premier League Premier Division Whitby Town, who drew 1-1 at the Turnbull
Ground against National League North side Gloucester City.
But
the Tigers left it very, very late – Marlow Jackson`s equaliser coming 4
minutes into stoppage time after the Seasiders had led through Danny Rowe`s 63rd
minute penalty.
There
were some big winners on the day, with Isthmian North Maldon & Tiptree being
the biggest, running out 6-1 winners over Isthmian South Central side Chertsey
Town.
Charlee

National

rivals and now Northern Premier League Premier Division Ashton United 6-2 at
Hurst Cross.

Ben
Atkinson, Jack Sampson, Russell Benjamin, Devarn Green and David Morgan were
the Port marksmen.
In
the all-Southern League Premier Division South tie, Hayes & Yeading United edged
a nine-goal thriller against Hendon.
But
the home crowd must have thought it was going to be plain sailing as they raced
into a 3-0 half-time lead, thanks to a 31st minute Ogo Obi penalty and goals in
the final few minutes of the half from Joe Grant and a Chris Grace own goal.
Kameron
English reduced the deficit for Hendon on 62 minutes before Omar Rowe made it
4-1.
Sam
Corcoran pulled a second back for the Greens with 20 minutes to go and 5
minutes later, Francis Amartey slotted the ball home to make it 3-4.
Amazingly,
Hendon equalised with another goal from Amartey on 81 minutes but Hassan Jalloh
on his return to the club, scored a penalty after he was brought down in the
area in the 88th minute. |
