Goalkeeper Aidan Winterbottom joins having been with league rivals and neighbours Stalybridge Celtic.
He
has made a couple of first team appearances as well as being the regular for
the reserve side and has also played outfield on a couple of occasions.
He
has trained with Manchester City and has turned out for Leeds United`s
reserves.
Manager
Dave McGurk told https://hydeunited.co.uk:
“Aidan comes in to provide cover should anything happen to Luke Mewitt. James
Hodges and Thierry Lewis are both currently injured, so we have had to move to
make sure we are not left short.”
Defender
Luis Morrison (pictured) joins from Southern League Premier Division Central side Stratford
Town.
The
25-year-old signed for Stratford in July.
The
6`3” defender began his career at Stevenage Borough, graduating their academy
before moving abroad to play in both Sweden and Finland.
Returning
to the UK, he had spells at Maidenhead United and Hereford United before moving
to Farnborough in January 2014.
A
spell with Canvey Island preceded periods with Greenwich Borough, Ashford
United, Altrincham and Alfreton Town before signing for then-National League
North side Nuneaton Borough in November 2018.
Outside
of football, he appeared in ITV 2's popular Love Island programme in 2015.
McGurk
said: “Luis joins us and is available for tomorrow evening. He is a player with
a real presence and is another one who has impressed in training. He’s vocal
and will add strength and leadership down the spine of the team.”
Forward
Michael Elstone arrives from Vanarama National League neighbours Curzon Ashton.
Elstone,
who turned 21 last week, is the son of former Everton CEO Robert Elstone, he
has been with Fulham under-23s and has also had spells at Crewe Alexandra and
Welsh side Bangor City.
He
signed for Marine AFC in December 2018 and made 14 appearances and scored one
goal before being injured in March which saw him miss the rest of the campaign.
McGurk
said of Elstone: “Michael has been training with us leaving Curzon and he has
impressed during that time with us. He’s looked sharp and should be able to
come in and hit the ground running.”
