Vanarama
National League North club Hereford FC were beaten at Edgar Street by BetVictor
Southern League Premier Division Central side Tamworth on penalties.
Even
playing 120 minutes the teams couldn`t be separated.
However,
in the resulting shoot-out, the Lambs converted three and the Bulls just one so
Tamworth go through to host another National League North outfit, Darlington.
It
also took spot-kicks to separate Isthmian League Premier Division hosts Bowers
& Pitsea and Isthmian North side Canvey Island after a 1-1 draw in 120
minutes.
Tobi
Joseph gave the Gulls a 16th minute lead.
Brad
Warner equalised for the hosts in the 67th minute.
No
further goals came in the remaining time, including extra-time, so the match
went to penalties and the hosts ran out 5-3 winners in the shoot-out and play
at home to Isthmian South East newcomers Chichester City in the Fourth Qualifying
Round.
Bowers`
league rivals Kingstonian also progressed after their trip to North Somerset to
take on Southern League Premier Division South side Weston-super-Mare at the Optima
Stadium.
Fabio
Saraiva put the K`s in front after 16 minutes only for the home side to
equalise just 3 minutes later through George Dowling.
Jerry
Puemo restored the visitors` advantage on 24 minutes and Reece Hall and Louie
Theophanous added second half goals to make it an emphatic win for K`s and a
trip to managerless National League South outfit Dartford in the next round.
Goals
from Jacob Mendy, Billy Clifford, Michee Efete and Dennon Lewis sealed a comfortable
passage for National League South side Wealdstone at Grosvenor Vale against
Southern Division One South visitors Bristol Manor Farm.
The
Stones travel to National Leaguers Maidenhead United in the next round.
And
the all-National League South replay at Arbour Park between Slough Town and
Chippenham Town went the way of the visitors by the odd goal in five.
The
Bluebirds led at the break with a 42nd minute Nat Jarvis effort.
The
home side levelled within 5 minutes of the second half getting underway when a
Max Worsfold corner hit a Chippenham player and the ball ended up in the back
of the net.
But
4 minutes later, the visitors were back in front with a terrific strike from Luke
Haines which gave Slough `keeper Jack Turner no chance.
The
Rebels were level once more on 74 minutes when Matt Lench`s corner evaded everyone,
including Chippenham `keeper Will Puddy.
But
10 minutes later, the visitors grabbed what proved to be the winner when
Karnell Chambers volleyed home to make it 3-2 and a trip to Isthmian South East
side Whyteleafe in the Fourth Qualifying Round.
