Cunnington, who turned 32 on Monday, had only joined the Darts in August from another league rival, Billericay Town.

He originally joined for Kettering Town in January 2011 from Barwell.

It took him a while to find his feet, but he became a firm favourite during 2011/12 season, scoring some important goals during a difficult campaign.

In November 20111 he joined Dagenham & Redbridge on loan with a view to a permanent move and £15,000 fee.

He later played for Alfreton Town, Tamworth, Cambridge United, Ebbsfleet United and Billericay and re-joined the Poppies in December 2018.

He returned to Billericay towards the end of the 2018/19 season.
