Hallmark Security League Premier Division club Barnoldswick Town have announced that manager Matt Barnes has left with immediate effect.

Barnes has departed by mutual consent having been appointed in May 2018.

 

He took over from Danny Craig after leaving league rivals Maine Road at the end of the 2017/18 season.

 

He is also North Manchester area co-ordinator for Everton`s academy, starting out as a general scout in the Bury area.

 

The club statement on the departure said, "We would like to take this opportunity of thanking Matt for his services to the club and wish him all the best for the future.".
