Defender
Matty Thomson and midfielder Louis Hayes have both joined Brig on an initial month`s
loan deal.
From
the Wirral, Thomson is an academy graduate and part of the under-18 squad that
reached the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
Thomson (pictured) made his senior debut in April 2018, playing the full 90 minutes against
Maidstone United.
He
signed a professional deal at the Deva in June 2018 and the right back made 16
appearances in all competitions last term before signing a one-year extension
in the summer.
Hayes
has also come through the club`s academy, signing a one-year deal after
impressing through the Blues scholarship programme.
A
physical central midfielder, he joined the club from Blackburn Rovers in May
2017.
Hayes
has been recalled from a loan spell with Hallmark Security League Premier
Division outfit Burscough in order to make the move up a couple of divisions.
