Defender Ryan Hughes and midfielder Morgan Roberts are both 18-year-olds, and are part of the Cobblers’ first team squad, having come through their academy.

Hughes, who hails from Kettering, joined the Cobblers as a 10-year-old in 2011 and has progressed through the age groups.

He spent a spell on `work experience` at St Neots Town in the 2018/19 season and made his first team debut at Cheltenham Town in March 2019.

Roberts (pictured) made his Cobblers’ League bow in 2018 against Oldham and was on the bench at Sixfields in the most recent home league game, and he made a sub appearance in their midweek EFL Trophy game at Cambridge United.
