Summerfield spent three seasons in the Martyrs from 2013 before leaving to study at Birmingham University.

The right sided player is an accomplished player who can play anywhere across the back four which has seen him represent the likes of Swansea City, Newport County, Halesowen Town, Redditch United and Stratford Town in his career.

He was also part of the league winning team that won the Southern League South & West under former manager Steve Jenkins back in 2014.

The talented full back re-joins the club from JD Cymru Premiership side Penybont, who are playing in the top tier of Welsh football for the first time in their history.

Meanwhile, central defender Craig McDonnell has left Penydarren Park.

The 28-year-old departs the Martyrs due to ongoing work commitments.

McDonnell made just under 50 appearances for Williams’ side after his move from JD Cymru South side Taffs Well back in 2018.
