Joining
the Iron from BetVictor Isthmian League North side Cambridge City is Lucas
Kirkpatrick (pictured).
The
24-year-old midfielder joined City from former Southern Division One Central
rivals Bedford Town in June.
He
moved to the Eagles from Biggleswade Town in September 2018 and made 19
appearances in all competitions, scoring 4 goals.
He
was previously with Hitchin, where he spent almost five years, and has also
worn the colours of Kempston Rovers and Langford.
Also
joining the Iron is 19-year-old defender Jack James.
James
joined Luton Town`s academy at under-14 level and signed his first professional
contract in the summer of 2018 after a terrific season in which he made an
impressive senior debut in the Checkatrade Trophy clash with Tottenham
under-21s.
He
travelled with the first team squad for a game at Morecambe the following
month, then gained valuable senior experience on loan at Hitchin Town.
He
also made his international debut for the Republic of Ireland under-18s in
March 2018.
He
made his first senior start for the Hatters in a 2-1 defeat at Peterborough
United in the Checkatrade Trophy in November 2018.
