The
25-year-old began his career as a youngster at then SkyBet League One side AFC Bournemouth
in 2007, aged just 13.
The
young winger progressed through the youth set-up with the Cherries but found
first-team chances limited so was loaned to Dorchester Town.
He
enjoyed further loan spells with AFC Totton and Poole Town and having impressed
during two spells with the Dolphins, he signed for them on a permanent basis
before moving to Concord Rangers in August 2014.
Chiedozie’s
prolific goalscoring record at the Aspect Arena – 7 goals in 14 matches – saw him
sign an 18-month deal with League Two outfit Cambridge United in November 2014.
But
with first-team chances limited at the Abbey Stadium, Chiedozie went on-loan to
Dartford and Braintree Town before signing for Boreham Wood following his
release from Cambridge.
He
re-signed for Concord Rangers in September 2016 where he scored 12 goals in 25
appearances before moving to Margate for the 2017/18 season.
He
scored 29 goals in 39 appearances for The Gate, and that earned a step up to
the National League South with Chelmsford City in May 2018, although his spell
with the Clarets has been dogged by injuries. |
