The 20-year-old has been known to Wotton for a long time and is someone he has been interested in bringing aboard since he started managing the White Tigers in July.

Dan, the younger brother of White Tigers` striker Louis Rooney, has played for Truro before on loan from Plymouth Argyle and is an exciting addition to the squad.

He had joined Vanarama National League South outfit Bath City on a short-term deal in August after spending pre-season with beleaguered Bury.

When the Shakers failed to start the season, eventually being expelled from the Football League, he headed back south to Twerton Park.

Wotton told https://www.trurocityfc.net: "I'm delighted that the opportunity to sign him arose.

"He is an exciting player and is a great addition to strengthen the squad. I'm thankful he has chosen to join us and can't wait to see him in action".
