The
24-year-old centre-back re-joined York in May 2018 after leaving another league
rival, Alfreton Town.
York-born,
he is a lifelong City supporter who had spent the previous two years working
part-time as a coach in the club's Foundation.
He
had progressed through City's youth system before making his debut aged 18 in a
League Two fixture against Bristol Rovers in December 2012.
He
originally departed Bootham Crescent in May 2014 after making the last of 11
appearances in a League Two play-off semi-final against Fleetwood Town.
He
spent a season playing for Gateshead before joining Alfreton in 2016.
He
has also played on loan for Hucknall Town, Harrogate Town, and Tadcaster
Albion.
He
spent a large chunk of the 2018/19 season back with Alfreton on loan.
