Pools Snap Up Sunderland Midfielder
16-03-2019 I News Headlines
Vanarama National League club Hartlepool United have signed young midfielder Adam Bale following his release from SkyBet League One side Sunderland.

Bale, who has featured for the Black Cats under-18s and under-23s in recent seasons, has signed a deal with Pools until the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

The 20-year-old starlet signed after impressing manager Craig Hignett during a trial last month when he trained with the squad and played in a behind-closed-doors game at Middlesbrough.

Bale has battled back from a serious knee injury to become a regular in Sunderland’s under-23 side this term, captaining the team on occasions.
