Baxendale Moves to Pontefract
Midfielder James Baxendale has moved to BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West club Pontefract Collieries.

The 27-year-old moves to Colls from NPL Premier Division side Grantham Town, who he signed for in May 2019 from rivals Mickleover Sports.

 

After starting out at Leeds United and then Doncaster Rovers, where he made his League debut in 2012, Baxendale spent four years at Walsall, making over 100 League appearances for the Saddlers.

 

After a short spell at Mansfield Town, he has played in the United States for Orange County, then had spells with Alfreton Town, Kidderminster Harriers and Nuneaton Borough before joining Mickleover in March 2019.
