The
still only 25-year-old signed for the Lilywhites from Vanarama National League
North neighbours Curzon Ashton in July.
He
garnered attention for his goalscoring exploits during the 2010/11 FA Premier
Academy League season.
He
scored 18 goals in 16 games and was taken on Liverpool's pre-season tour of the
USA by then manager Brendan Rodgers in July 2012 and scored his first senior
goal for Liverpool in a friendly against Toronto FC with an assist by Raheem
Sterling.
He
made his senior debut for the club in a Europa League qualifier against Hearts
and also started the group game against Anzhi Makhachkala.
He
made his League debut on loan at Rotherham United before joining Yeovil Town on
loan.
Following
his release by Liverpool he signed a permanent deal with Yeovil in January
2014.
He
spent the first half of the 2015/16 season with Accrington Stanley and
following a brief spell with Colwyn Bay signed for Curzon Ashton, famously
scoring a hat-trick in a televised FA Cup Second Round tie against AFC
Wimbledon.
Spells
with FC Halifax Town and Sligo Rovers in the Republic of Ireland followed
before he returned again to play for Curzon in September 2018. Whilst with
Liverpool, he represented England at both under-17 and at under-19 level. |
