Romeo Takes Up Northwood Role
Jamie Leacock, the new manager of BetVictor Isthmian League South Central club Northwood, has brought in former team-mate Yashwa Romeo as his assistant-manager.

The much-travelled and vastly experienced Romeo has left Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Reading City, where he was playing.

 

He departs the Rivermoor having made 9 appearances for the club to join his former Thatcham Town team-mate Leacock in the dug-out.

 

Romeo was Reading City`s first summer signing ahead of the 2019/20 campaign after deciding to return to playing as he felt that he still had a season left in him, having spent last season at Marlow United where he served as assistant-manager.

 

Romeo has a distinguished footballing career playing for the likes of Abingdon United, Hungerford Town, Oxford City, Thatcham, Burnham, Slough Town, Marlow, Maidenhead United and Windsor FC.
