Neil Smith`s side were held to a 2-2 draw at Hayes Lane by Stockport County, taking an 18th minute lead through Reeco Hackett-Fairchild.

Elliot Osborne equalised 7 minutes later and on 35 minutes, Tom Walker had the visitors in front, only for a Sam Minihan own goal to restore parity just 3 minutes later.

Both sides had chances to win it in the second half, with Hackett-Fairchild hitting the bar with a free-kick and Adam Thomas doing likewise at the other end from a close-range effort, but the points were shared in the end.

FC Halifax Town are back up to second after winning 1-0 against out-of-form Sutton United at Gander Green Lane.

Fourth-bottom Sutton are now winless in eight games, courtesy of Michael Duckworth`s 53rd minute goal which proved to be the winner for the Shaymen.

Harrogate Town are fourth after recording a 2-1 win over Barnet at the CNG Stadium.

But, despite going two-up in 18 minutes through Jack Muldoon and George Smith, Town were forced to hang on with ten-men following the 78th minute dismissal of former Notts County favourite Jon Stead for a reckless challenge.

David Tutonda had earlier reduced the deficit for the Bees after 36 minutes and they almost grabbed a point but for Harrogate `keeper James Belshaw`s brilliant double save.

Barrow AFC are fifth after a 2-0 win at The Chigwell Construction Stadium against Dagenham & Redbridge.

The Bluebirds, who were beaten at Torquay United last weekend, went ahead after 13 minutes through Dior Angus.

Scott Quigley added a second on 25 minutes and, although the Daggers` Joan Luque hit the bar in the second half, the hosts suffered defeat.

Torquay and Notts County occupy the other two play-off spots and both won on Tuesday night.

Struggling Wrexham suffered a 1-0 defeat at Plainmoor, thanks to a 56th minute Jake Andrews effort and a brilliant second half save from the Gulls` keeper Shaun MacDonald from a Paul Rutherford shot.

County condemned Woking to a 13th league and cup game without a win after a convincing 4-0 win at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.

Enzio Boldewijn and Wes Thomas both bagged braces for the Magpies, with the latter scoring in the 18th and 61st minutes and the former sandwiching those on 7 and 73 minutes.

The battle of the bottom two saw Chorley remain firmly rooted to the basement after Ebbsfleet United won 4-0 at Victory Park.

Marvel Ekpiteta gave Fleet a great start with a goal inside 5 minutes and Gozie Ugwu doubled that lead 2 minutes before the break.

Ugwu virtually made the points safe with his second and the visitors` third on the hour-mark, with Albie Morgan adding a fourth for good measure with 4 minutes remaining.

Dover Athletic moved above Eastleigh into 11th spot after beating them 3-1 at Crabble.

Oscar Gobern put the Whites in front after 18 minutes and Inih Effiong gave the home side a two-goal interval lead on the half-hour mark.

Tyronn Barnett pulled the Spitfires back into the contest just past the hour-mark, but a second for Effiong 17 minutes from time sealed Dover`s win.

It finished 0-0 at Meadow Park between Boreham Wood and Aldershot Town, while new AFC Fylde boss Jim Bentley watched on as his side earned a point from a 1-1 draw at York Road against Maidenhead United.

Josh Kelly broke the deadlock to give the home side the lead 3 minutes into the second half, but Neill Byrne ensured the Coasters` made their long midweek journey home with a point in the bag with a 73rd minute leveller.
