Malkin becomes Dabbers` boss Dave Cooke’s third signing of the summer after the arrival of ex-Hednesford Town duo James Lawrie and Danny Glover.

The son of former Tranmere Rovers centre-forward Chris Malkin, the striker was in fine form for Laird last season, as his 24 goals helped the club finish in sixth position.

Laird went on to qualify for the play-offs in which the Camels reached the final where they lost 2-1 to Whitchurch Alport.
