Orient Striker Loaned to Whites

Vanarama National League club Dover Athletic have signed striker Ruel Sotiriou on a month`s loan from SkyBet League Two side Leyton Orient.

The Cypriot under-21 international was handed his first team debut for the O`s when brought off the bench in the O’s Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round against Dagenham & Redbridge in October 2017 as a second-year scholar.

The tenacious forward then followed up with his league debut a week later, once again coming on as a second half sub in Orient’s 1-0 defeat to Macclesfield Town.

In May 2018 he signed his first professional contract on a two-year-deal.

He has gained experience out on loan with Heybridge Swifts and Leatherhead.

He could make his debut against AFC Fylde tomorrow.
