Landers Returns to North Leigh
BetVictor Southern League Division One Central club North Leigh have welcomed back young striker Henry Landers.

A former Oxford United youth, his eye for goal and attack-minded presence saw him score 17 goals in a struggling North Leigh side in 2018/19.

 

In total, he scored a phenomenal 24 goals in all competitions and took home a clean sweep of end of season awards as the managers` players` and supporters` player of the season.

 

The now 19-year-old earned an opportunity to sign a professional contract with Vanarama National League side Maidenhead United in May.

 

Making 2 appearances for the Magpies, he was then sent out on loan to Isthmian League Premier Division side Cheshunt to keep gaining first team experience, and he made two full and one sub appearance for the Ambers but decided to return to the Oxfordshire outfit as he wasn`t enjoying his football.
