Not a Good Week for Silkmen
It has not been a good week for SkyBet League Two club Macclesfield Town.

Now, strong rumours coming out of Moss Rose are that the Silkmen are set to follow the former Bury and may have to start the 2020/21 campaign in non-League football and possibly under a new name.

With players not being paid their October wages on time, and several of these players looking to hand in their notice and move to new clubs in League Two or the Vanarama National League, the situation at the club (which has dragged on for most of the year) is only getting worse and it may soon be inevitable that the club will fold meaning that there will be no relegation of clubs from League Two this season.

But two spaces for the reformed Bury (Bury United has been mentioned on Social Media) and now possibly Macclesfield Town will have to be found unless a buyer for the Cheshire club can be found by the end of the year.
