BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West club City of Liverpool have signed Liam Hynes.

A defensive midfielder, the 26-year-old began his career at Everton.

 

On his release from Goodison Park, he joined St Helens Town.

 

After a stint with Banbury United, he joined Redditch United in 2011, scoring on his debut against Cambridge City.

 

Injury curtailed his appearances at Redditch and getting back to fitness, he played in the lower leagues for Woodford United, Bugbrooke St Michaels and Daventry Town in the United Counties league.

 

After a promising start, he was released to join Southport where he made a number of appearances in the Vanarama National League.

 

In July 2016 he Stalybridge Celtic before joining Warrington Town in the summer of 2017.

 

However, he suffered a serious knee injury just minutes in to the third game of the season away at Coalville Town which ruled him out of the rest of the campaign.

 

In September 2018, he joined Marine AFC.
