The
popular midfielder re-joins the Magpies for a third spell having become an
instant fans favourite by scoring an injury-time equaliser on his debut in the
Boxing Day derby away at Weymouth in 2015.
He
returns from league rivals Wimborne Town, who he joined in October 2018.
Clarke (pictured) left local rivals Poole Town to re-join Wimborne after his contract was
cancelled.
Having
signed on a free transfer from Blackfield & Langley during the summer of
2018, he had limited opportunities for the Dolphins.
The
26-year-old playmaker had hit the headlines during his first spell at
Dorchester, leading to a step up to the professional game for York City, for
whom he made a couple of appearances.
He
returned to the area to sign for Salisbury in 2017 and then joined Poole just
under a year later.
Dorchester
have also brought in Klaidi Lolos and Michael Peck on loan from SkyBet League
Two side Plymouth Argyle.
Striker
Lolos, who started his youth career with Greek giants Olympiacos before a move
to Crystal Palace, has signed until January 1st 2020, while central defender
Peck, who came through the Pilgrims academy system, joins on until the end of November.
Meanwhile,
talented striker River Smith has joined Sydenhams Football League (Wessex)
Premier side Shaftesbury on dual registration.
Smith
scored 24 goals in 30 appearances for Bournemouth Poppies during 2017/18 and
featured for Hamworthy United during the following season, joining the Magpies
in May 2019. |
