Ingram Bolsters Struggling Pikes
Denny Ingram, manager of BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West strugglers Pickering Town, has been very busy in the past few days, bringing in five new players.

Much-travelled 26-year-old striker Sanchez Payne checks in along with Quinn Thompson, Tommy Best and Justeace Nicholls.

 

Payne (pictured) started his career with Leeds United and played regularly for the under-18s and also had a loan spell with Buxton before being released from Elland Road in the summer of 2013.

 

Since then he has been with the likes of Stockport County, Frickley Athletic, Ossett Town and Ossett Albion before the merger, Bradford Park Avenue, Hyde United, Tadcaster Albion and Garforth Town.

 

Thompson is an 18-year-old defender who joins the Pikes on a month`s loan from SkyBet Championship side Hull City.

 

He joined the Tigers as an under-14 and is now a second-year scholar.

 

Also joining on loan from Hull is another 18-year-old in midfielder Tommy Best.

 

Hartlepool-born, he is also a second-year scholar who was picked up by the Tigers as an under-16.

 

Justeace Nichols is a teenage midfielder who joins from League One strugglers Bolton Wanderers
