Kendall started his managerial career in 2014 in Thailand and eventually ended up as the manager of Leyton Athletic in the Essex Senior League and then assistant-manager of Thurlow Nunn League Division One South outfit Newbury Forest.

He joined Clapton in April 2019 as part of a managerial trio with Halil Hassan and Paul Gissing, although that went down to one at the start of the season with both Hassan and Gissing leaving the Tons.

Joining Kendall in the dug-out is Bulent Caliskan and Jonathan Klug, who both follow from the Old Spotted Dog Ground.
