The 31-year old played for Woodley Sports after graduating from their youth set-up, before moving on to Curzon Ashton and Mossley AFC.

He then moved to Ashton United, then Trafford before returning to Mossley.

In the last few seasons he has been at Stockport Town, Abbey Hey, Prestwich Heys and Padiham.

Rio Gill has joined Town from Skelmersdale United.

The 19-year-old was at Everton before short spells at Trafford, Runcorn Linnets and Winsford United.

He started this season at Prescot Cables but moved to Skem at the start of October in search of more game time, before quickly moving to Runcorn.

Kieran Holsgrove and Michael Burke have also both joined Town on dual registration terms.

Holsgrove (pictured) has joined from BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West side Marine AFC who have high hopes for him but he has joined in search of more game time.

The 19-year-old was at West Bromwich Albion in their under-18 team, before moving to Watford last season where he played in the under-23s.

Burke is no stranger to Runcorn fans having been with them on dual terms last season from NPL Division One North West outfit Widnes.

He also spent several seasons at Runcorn Linnets, and has also played for Ashton Athletic, Skelmersdale United and Barnton in the NWCL.

Meanwhile, midfielders Matthew France and Richard McQuade have left the club in search of regular football and have signed for NWCL First Division South side Barnton and goalkeeper Marcus Burgess has left to join NWCL First Division South side Cheadle Town.
