Lovett & His Management Crew Team Up at Hillians

Having recently resigned as manager of BetVictor Isthmian League South Central club South Park, Jay Lovett has been handed the post at Isthmian League South East outfit Burgess Hill Town and has revealed his management team.

Lovett returns to the Sussex non-League scene where he enjoyed a good deal of his lengthy playing career with the likes of Eastbourne Borough, Horsham, Whitehawk, Lewes and, briefly, the Hillians.

All that followed enjoyed a professional career at Plymouth Argyle, Brentford and Crawley Town.

Steve Sutherland and Matt Bubb join as Lovett`s assistant-managers having both worked alongside him at South Park.

Sutherland enjoyed a successful playing career at Metropolitan Police, Tooting & Mitcham United and Walton Casuals – notably winning promotion to the, then, Ryman Premier League with the Police back in 2011.

Bubb brings vast coaching experience, having worked at Crawley Town, Royal Russell School and the Independent Schools’ FA.
