Steve Waide steps up from first team coach to become Quinn`s assistant manager, Nelly Sanderson will continue as goalkeeper coach, while club captain and first team keeper Mike Ingham, will also form part of the management team.

Quinn is a highly experienced manager having taken charge of over 400 games, which includes his time as manager of Brighouse Town and Shaw Lane AFC.

He secured promotion with Brighouse in 2013/14 to the NPL and also recorded their highest FA Cup and FA Vase run.

Most recently, he was part of the management team at Ossett United where they were County Cup winners against Vanarama National League North side Guiseley AFC and also secured a place in last season’s play-offs.

Quinn’s playing experience included spells with Ashton United, Mossley AFC, Liversedge, Emley and Brighouse.

He works full-time for the Football Association.

Quinn told https://www.tadalbion.com: “I am delighted to have been appointed as manager of Tadcaster. This is a club I have admired from a distance for a number of years and when the opportunity presented itself it was not a difficult decision to accept.

“Naturally when a manager leaves any club there is a period of transition and I would like to personally thank Mike Ingham and Steve Waide who have done a brilliant job over the last few weeks.

“I am really looking forward to meeting the players next week and helping the club to build on a positive start to the campaign”.
