Vastly Experienced Burns Becomes a Docker
BetVictor Isthmian League North club Tilbury have signed vastly experienced defender midfielder Lee Burns.

The 37-year-old has been suffering with injuries this season but is now fully fit.

 

The Australian-born Burns returned to Isthmian Premier side East Thurrock United in 2017 after making more than 100 appearances in the Vanarama National League for Dartford.

 

A charismatic and player who is popular with the fans, he is something of an iconic player at East Thurrock where he impressed during a previous spell from 2006 to 2007, helping the club to earlier triumphs.

 

He started out with Sorrento in his home country and has also been with Braintree Town.
