The 22-year-old, who lives in nearby Hatfield, comes to the Isabel Hospice Stadium from Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Wingate & Finchley, for whom he has played for the past year.

Prior to that, he was with Isthmian League North side Heybridge Swifts.

A versatile defender, who can play in central defence or at full-back, he began his career in Chelsea’s academy, had trials at Norwich City and spent six months with Blackpool, where he was twice a substitute in first-team fixtures.
