The
21-year-old arrives at the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium from league rivals
Braintree Town.
A
central midfielder, he started in youth football at Arsenal and then moved to
Millwall under-23s where his future potential was recognised with loan spells
at Dagenham & Redbridge and Havant & Waterlooville.
He
was released by the Lions at the end of last season and joined the Iron in
September.
Full
back Liam Smith has joined BetVictor Isthmian League South East side Sevenoaks
Town on dual registration.
Angels
Boss Steve McKimm told https://www.tonbridgeangels.co.uk: “This is a sensible
move for Liam as it will give him more game time, but also means we can call
him back should circumstances arise.”
Meanwhile,
Chinedu McKenzie has decided to leave Tonbridge to pursue other opportunities
in the game and to increase his chances of more playing time.
After
discussions with Angels Boss Steve McKimm, the striker was clear that he felt
his immediate footballing future lay elsewhere.
McKimm
said: “I would like to thank Chin for his massive contribution in our promotion
season and for the goals he scored which played a significant part in our
eventual success last campaign.”
McKenzie
made 37 appearances for the club scoring 12 goals. He joined the club from
Haringey Borough in January 2019. |
