Rangers
have made the permanent signing of Brad Grayson from league rivals Buxton,
whilst also adding Will McGuffie and Shakeel Jones-Griffiths on loan.
Twenty-six-year-old
Grayson (pictured) has been on loan at Marston Road and has excelled, scoring 5 goals in 6
games.
The
much-travelled forward initially joined Buxton in the summer of 2016.
He
is Doncaster born and played for his home-town club Rovers, going on to make
one appearance in the first team before joining Frickley Athletic in the summer
of 2011 where he spent one season before a season at Matlock Town.
In
the summer of 2013 he moved to Sweden, playing for third tier outfit Ange IF,
where his 24 goals helped secure promotion before a short spell in Australia
with Cumberland FC.
He
spent the 2014/15 season at Stocksbridge Park Steels before moving to the
Philippines and an impressive stint with top-flight side Loyola before
returning to Frickley.
He
had a stunning season in 2016/17, scoring 28 goals in 42 appearances for
Buxton, but he moved to Mickleover Sports in the summer of 2017 before
returning to the Silverlands in January 2018.
McGuffie
joins on a month`s loan from SkyBet Championship side Wigan Athletic.
The
19-year-old made his first team debut for Latics in the EFL Trophy against
Accrington Stanley in 2017.
McGuffie
is a first-year professional with Latics, progressing through the academy ranks
after a treble-winning 2018/19 season with the under-18s in which he won the
EFL Youth Alliance, EFL Youth Alliance Cup and Lancashire FA Youth Cup.
McGuffie,
who is a combative and robust central midfielder who can also play in defence,
scored 5 goals in 2018/19.
Jones-Griffiths
arrives at Rangers on a month`s loan from League One Bolton Wanderers.
The
18-year-old midfielder came through the Trotters` ranks and became a regular in
the under-18s and then the under-23s.
The
club have also announced that Max Dixon has left the club, signing for Southern
League Premier Division Central outfit Rushall Olympic.
He
was originally with Coventry City and joined Stafford from Lichfield City.
