Smith,
who can play at left back or centre-back, was with National League side
Dagenham & Redbridge last season and amassed over 250 appearances for
Yeovil Town over two spells at the club.
He
started out in non-League football with Enfield, Waltham Forest and Potters Bar
Town before being signed by then-League One Yeovil Town in 2008.
He
went on to be Yeovil's record appearance holder in the Football League.
He
also spent three seasons at Chesterfield, where he was named fans' player of
the year and the players' player of the year in 2013 before re-joining the
Glovers.
He is a Jamaican international
with two caps for his country.
