BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division side Buxton were ousted from the competition at NPL Division One North West outfit Colne`s Sovereign Play Stadium.

Lee Pugh gave the Lancastrians a 34th minute lead that Diego DeGirolamo cancelled out right on half-time.

However, two goals in the final 5 minutes from Connor Hughes and sub Aidan Chippendale won it for the home side.

Two shock results involving Isthmian league sides saw Premier Division Margate and Worthing both beaten at home by lower league opposition.

Gate were comprehensively booted out of the Trophy at Hartsdown Park by Isthmian South Central side Tooting & Mitcham United.

Danny Bassett gave the Terrors the lead 5 minutes before the break and Connor French doubled that 3 minutes after the interval.

David Castanho made it virtually game over with number three in the 65th minute and Razzaq Coleman rounded things off with Tooting`s fourth a couple of minutes from time.

Margate`s league rivals Worthing attracted a crowd of 521 for their tie at the Bibby Financial Services Stadium against Isthmian North side AFC Sudbury.

But the Suffolk side, who beat Southern League Premier Division South outfit Harrow Borough in the previous round, caused an even bigger upset by beating the Rebels 4-1 on their own turf.

Reece Harris put the visitors in front after 19 minute and 4 minutes later, Baris Altintop added a second.

Three minutes after the break, Callum Harrison put Sudbury in dreamland with a third and, although Joel Colbran netted a consolation for Worthing 11 minutes from time, Liam Bennett added a fourth for the visitors to make it a comprehensive win.

There were also a couple of upsets involving Southern League clubs.

Top marks go to Division One South side Cinderford Town, who ousted Isthmian League Premier Division visitors` Potters Bar Town 1-0 at Causeway, courtesy of a 63rd minute Ben Watkins goal.

Not far behind were Division One Central club Halesowen Town, who beat Northern Premier League Premier Division side Grantham Town 2-1 at The Grove.

Reece Hewitt proved to be the Yeltz`s hero on the day with a brace on 41 and then 85 minutes, with Francois Zoko netting a last-gasp reply for the Gingerbreads.

Other Northern Premier sides through to the next round are Premier Division sides Atherton Collieries, FC United of Manchester and Matlock Town, while Division One North West promotion-chasers Workington AFC are also through after winning 3-1 at Division One South East side Leek Town, courtesy of Dan Wordsworth, Brad Hubbold and Jordan Little.

Colls beat fellow Premier side Morpeth Town 2-1 at the Skuna Stadium with goals from Josh Thompson after 31 minutes and Tom Bentham in the 52nd – Liam Henderson hitting an 86th minutes reply, while FC United also beat a league rival in Basford United 3-1 at Broadhurst Park in front of 907.

Michael Donohue`s 22nd minute opener for the hosts was cancelled out by Brad Gascoigne 4 minutes later.

But Paul Ennis on 32 minutes and Tunde Owolabi just before the break eventually sealed the home side`s progress.

Another all-Premier tie saw Matlock edge out Ashton United and the DCJ Group Insurance Arena, thanks to a 33rd minute Spencer Harris penalty.

Other teams through from the Isthmian League include Premier Division outfits Hornchurch, Bognor Regis Town and Haringey Borough.

The Urchins ensured there was to be no second upset by Isthmian North hosts Basildon United as they were crushed 6-1 with Charlie Stimson netting a hat-trick for dad Mark`s side along with singles for Marvin Morgan, Daniel Uchechi and Lewwis Spence.

Bognor won the all-Premier tie with East Thurrock United 3-1 at Nyewood Lane with goals from Bradley Lethbridge after 9 and 54 minutes and Doug Tuck on 32 minutes – Alex Clark having equalised on the half-hour mark.

Haringey beat former winners and runners-up, Isthmian North outfit Canvey Island, 2-1 at Coles Park with Anthos Solomou after 42 minutes and Dimitri Froxylias on the hour-mark proving enough, despite Kane Gilbert`s 71st minute reply.

Other Southern League winners were Premier Division Central side Peterborough Sports, who won 2-0 at Lincoln Road against NPL Premier Division visitors Whitby Town, thanks to Mitchell Grant after 20 minutes and Avelino Vieira in stoppage time at the end of the game.

Sports` league rivals Hednesford Town were expected to beat NPL Division One South East side Sutton Coldfield Town at Coles Lane, but were impressive in doing so, running out 5-1 winners.

The Pitmen made it almost game over by half-time, thanks to Tom Elliott after 8 minutes, Danny Glover 5 minutes later, Ben Bailey on 32 minutes and Osebi Abadaki 4 minutes after that.

Reece Gibson netted a 68th minute consolation for the Royals before Elliott bagged his second 4 minutes from time to make it a nap hand for the visitors.

Two Southern Premier Division South clubs were almost victims of upsets before earning replays.

High-flying Taunton Town shared a 3-3 draw at the Viridor Stadium with Isthmian League North visitors Aveley.

It was thanks to a Ryan Brett leveller 5 minutes from time for the Peacocks after Alex Akrofi and Jason Raad had cancelled out Jamie Price and Harry Kite goals for the hosts in the first half and then took a 72nd minute lead through George Sykes.

And Isthmian League South Central side Westfield held Hartley Wintney to a 1-1 draw in Surrey, thanks to a goal 2 minutes from time from Josh Webb after the hosts had led from a 40th minute Tinashe Nkoma goal.

Southern Premier Central hosts Royston Town enjoyed themselves at Garden Walk as they hammered Isthmian League South East side Haywards Heath Town 7-0 with goals from Josh Castiglione and Matt Bateman with two apiece, Adam Murray, Scott Bridges and Claudio Afosu.

And in four all-Southern League ties, Premier South side Gosport Borough won 4-2 at Privett Park against Division One South visitors Melksham Town, thanks to a Matt Paterson brace and Theo Lewis and recent signing Chris Flood – Luke Ballinger and Josh Ford replying, while Gosport`s league rivals Salisbury edged out Premier Central side Kings Langley 2-1 at the Ray Mac, courtesy of a Toby Holmes brace on 27 and 61 minutes, Mitch Weiss having levelled on 38 minutes.

Salisbury`s league rivals Yate Town inflicted a 6-3 defeat at home on Division One South side AFC Totton with the Bluebells` Louis Britton netting a hat-trick.

Premier South side Metropolitan Police and Premier Central outfit Biggleswade Town must try again after a 2-2 Imber Court draw in which Joe White gave the Waders a 31st minute lead.

Jack Mazzone equalised 5 minutes after the break, Ollie Knight then out the Met in front 15 minutes from time, only for Liam Brooks to make it 2-2 in the 83rd minute.

No upset at Isthmian Premier Enfield Town`s Queen Elizabeth II Stadium where Southern Division One South high-flyers Thatcham Town were hammered 5-0 in which Billy Bricknell netted a hat-trick and Mu Faal a brace.

The 1978 Trophy finalists, Isthmian Premier side Leatherhead, went through 2-1 at Southern Premier Central Needham Market`s Bloomfields with goals from Ibrahim Olutade after 56 minutes and Travis Gregory in the 68th – all the Marketmen could muster was a 90th minute James Baker reply.

Southern Premier Central leaders Tamworth were perhaps surprisingly beaten 5-3 at The Lamb by Northern Premier League Premier Division side Gainsborough Trinity.

Two goals in a minute from Brodie Litchfield (7) and Curtis Morrison (8) gave the visitors a great start.

Rhys Hoenes` penalty reduced the deficit in the 16th minute, only for Morrison`s second on 35 minutes to give Trinity a 3-1 interval lead.

Bilal Yafai reduced that to one on 66 minutes, but Ross Hannah made it 4-2 on 71 minutes and former Lamb, Simon Russell added a fifth just 5 minutes later, rendering Dan Creaney`s third for the hosts in the 79th minute as just consolation in the end.

Tamworth`s league rivals AFC Rushden & Diamonds were also ousted by NPL Premier Division opposition in league leaders South Shields, whose Jason Gilchrist bagged a brace in the 22nd and 67th minutes and Adam Thurston on 29 minutes and Lee Mason on 89 minutes made it a comfortable 4-0 win at Mariners Park for the hosts.
