Enfield-born Bicknell,
29, moved from Chelmsford City to Billericay Town in November 2016, having
previously had a spell with Dover Athletic.
He has also
appeared for Leyton, Ebbsfleet United and Maidstone United during his career,
and he netted his 100th goal for Billericay - over two spells - in March 2018.
Last season he
notched 37 goals in all matches for the ambitious Essex outfit.
Leese told the club`s
Ken Brazier: "We are absolutely delighted to get Bill into the club. He
really wanted to be here which says a lot about the club and our ambitions this
year. He knows some of our lads, which helped with his decision, and he has
turned down numerous offers to play at a higher level.
"His
incredible goal record speaks for itself, and he is determined to continue that
this coming season. Bill is an Enfield boy and I'm sure Town fans will love his
style of play. It is a major signing for us and my thanks go to the chairman
and the Board for backing it". |
