The
move comes after the Gingerbreads made a seven-day notice of approach for the
services of Wells, who has found himself out of the Pitmen starting eleven in
recent weeks and was not included in the squad for the Buildbase FA Trophy game
at Sutton Coldfield Town last Saturday.
The
26-year-old is a powerful, well-travelled striker who joined Hednesford Town in
January 2019 from Spalding United.
He
started out with local Nottinghamshire sides Blidworth Welfare, Ollerton Town,
Gedling Miners Welfare, Dunkirk, Rainworth Miners Welfare and Eastwood Town.
He
stepped up to the Northern Premier with Belper Town in 2014 and has since had
spells with Heanor Town, Long Eaton United, Handsworth Parramore, Basford
United, Stamford AFC, AFC Mansfield and Spalding, who he signed for in December
2018. |
