The
23-year-old joined County on a two-year deal having left
Chesterfield at the end of the 2017/18 season.
He
is a current Republic of Ireland under-21 international, having previously represented
the under-16, 17 and under-19 sides and made his name at Sheffield United
having broken into the first team via the Blades academy. He was also named
their young player of the year.
Born
in Chesterfield, Dimaio then moved to join his home-town club and made 44
appearances in League One and Two before joining the Hatters.
He
spent most of Stockport`s National League North title-winning season on loan at
BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division neighbours Ashton United. |
