The
23-year-old had only joined BetVictor Southern League Division One South side
Basingstoke Town last month.
The
son of the former Birmingham and Portsmouth midfielder and Basingstoke manager Martin, he started his career with Reading
and progressed through the ranks to play half-a-dozen first team appearances
for the Royals as well as 5 on loan at Scottish side Dundee United and 9 in the
National League outfit Boreham Wood.
Capped
by England at under-19 and under-20 level, after Reading announced that he
would be leaving the club upon the completion of his contract in 2017 he joined
Icelandic club Stjarnan on trial at the end of June 2017 before similar stints
with Bracknell Town and Aldershot Town.
Whilst
on trial with the Shots, he ruptured his medial collateral ligament in a
friendly against Wycombe Wanderers and had been of the game before joining
`Stoke. |
