The
22-year-old is no stranger to the National League, having only joined Blackburn
from Gateshead in July.
He
almost had his career cut short before it had barely got going when he suffered
a career-threatening injury whilst playing for Gateshead under-19s, side-lining
the youngster for over a year.
However,
he recovered to become one of the most influential midfielders in the National
League and feature for England C.
He
spent time out on loan at Spennymoor Town, West Auckland Town, Ashington and
Scarborough Athletic but the 2018/19 season was a breakthrough one for him as
he made 44 appearances for the Tynesiders.
He
had been linked with moves to Hartlepool United and Carlisle United, but Rovers
were first to sort a deal to take him to Ewood Park. |
