Young Clarets Forward Loaned to Leiston

Young forward Andy Fennell has joined BetVictor Southern League Premier Division Central strugglers Leiston on loan from Vanarama National League South side Chelmsford City until the end of January 2020.

Fennell signed for Chelmsford in June from Thurlow Nunn League Division One South outfit Coggeshall United.

He made 52 appearances for Coggeshall in the 2018/19 season, scoring 33 goals in all competitions and has also featured for Isthmian League North outfit Heybridge Swifts.

He was also a part of Chelmsford`s youth set-up with the under-11s all the way up to the under-18s and was a part of the Clarets' reserves before departing for Heybridge Swifts.

He has since gone on to make 8 senior appearances in total.
