The
36-year-old was formerly assistant-manager to Gary Waddock at National League
outfit Aldershot Town.
He
has signed a deal with the Tigers on a full-time basis until the end of the
2021/22 season.
After
playing spells in the National League and the Isthmian League Premier Division,
Rowe moved into coaching with his first stop at Nottingham Trent University as manager.
After
two years he moved to Birmingham City as lead youth development coach for three
years. This was followed with a technical coordinator role at the Premier
League, assistant academy director at West Ham United and then Rowe linked up
with Waddock in the summer of 2016 and helped the club reach the National
League play-offs twice.
As
part of his continuous professional development he also has spent time in
observational visits with Steve McClaren at Derby County, Wim Jonk at Ajax
Amsterdam and Alex Inglethorpe at Liverpool.
He
holds a UEFA A & B licence.
As
part of his various coaching roles, he has helped develop and mentor players
such as Demarari Gray of Leicester and Declan Rice and Conor Coventry of West
Ham.
