New Defender for Redditch
Redditch United have signed defender Callam Mendez-Jones from BetVictor Southern Premier Division Central rivals Rushall Olympic.

The 23-year-old joined the Pics in September 2019.

 

He started his career with West Bromwich Albion where he progressed through to play for the under-18 and under-23s.

 

He had a loan spell with Accrington Stanley whilst on the Baggies` books and was released in the summer of 2017, eventually joining Hednesford Town.

 

He left the Pitmen for Halesowen Town in December 2018 but during his time with the Pitmen, he clocked up over 50 appearances, and was a consistent member of the backline after signing in November 2017.
