The playmaker has impressed for Wednesday’s under-23s and was a key member of the Owls under-18s last season, as he helped the side win the league and play-off `double`.

The 18-year-old made a key contribution for the Owls under-23s last Saturday, scoring Wednesday’s equaliser against Wigan Athletic at Hillsborough.

Having joined the club’s academy at just 8 years old, Shaw signed his first professional contract with Wednesday in December last year.

Yet to make his senior Owls debut, the midfielder was named on the bench for the first time in last season`s home game against West Bromwich Albion.
