Now Wood Lose Smith To Lincoln
Vanarama National League Promotion Final runners-up Boreham Wood have lost a second member of their Wembley team.

Earlier this summer, Wood saw Bruno Andrade move to SkyBet League Two side Lincoln City after a stellar campaign at Meadow Park.

 

Now he has been joined at Sincil Bank by team-mate Grant Smith, who also joins the Imps for an undisclosed Fee.

 

The England C goalkeeper joined Wood from Bognor Regis Town in July 2016.

 

The 24-year-old has previously had spells with Reading and Fulham before signing for then-Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2012.

 

Smith progressed to become a was a fans` favourite at Wood and his last game for the club was at Wembley in the Promotion Final against Tranmere Rovers

 

Smith kept eighteen clean sheets and starred as Luke Garrard’s side caused an upset by dumping SkyBet League One side Blackpool out of the Emirates FA Cup in the First Round before bowing out to Coventry City in the Second Round.
