Mitch
Hancox joins Harrogate, while Sam Jones heads to Moors.
Hancox (pictured) is a left-sided player who joined home-town club Solihull in May from MK Dons.
He
spent the whole of his youth career with Birmingham City before going on to
make 40 appearances in the first team.
He
also made 15 appearances during a loan spell at Crawley Town, scoring twice.
His
time at St Andrews then came to an end as he signed for Macclesfield Town in
August 2016.
He
played 41 times in his first season at Moss Rose and netted 6 goals. His second
season at the Moss Rose was a memorable one as the Silkmen clinched the
National League title. He made 39 appearances, scoring 7 times.
He
spent the 2018/19 season with MK Dons who gained automatic promotion back to
League One at the first time of asking, although he found opportunities limited
in an injury-troubled campaign.
Jones
has made 6 appearances since arriving at the CNG Stadium from SkyBet League One
side Shrewsbury Town in the summer and scored in Harrogate’s 1-1 draw at
Maidenhead United.
Capped
by Wales at under-19 level, the 28-year-old played for Alfreton Town and
Gateshead before earning a move to Grimsby Town in the Football League in January
2017. |
