Whitehaven born, Charters signed a two-year professional contract in August and the ball-playing midfielder has featured on the Carlisle bench five times this season.

Having trained regularly with the first team, he also featured in the pre-season friendlies and has been among the goals for the Blues` under-18s.

Reds’ manager Danny Grainger told https://workingtonafc.com: “I think he is a fantastic talent and has a great attitude and I’m looking forward to seeing him on the pitch.

“He is a player I have seen develop over the last couple of seasons and I think he can have a big impact with us.”

Taylor will be available for Saturday’s fixture against Brighouse Town at Borough Park.
